- Fabric
- 2 yards of your desired fabric
- 1 yard of fusible fleece
- 1 yard of batting

- Sewing machine

Instructions

Cut your fabric.

Measure the dimensions of your desired rug.
- Add 1 inch to each side for seam allowances.

Cut two pieces of fabric to the desired size.

Fuse the fleece to the wrong side of one of the fabric pieces.
- Place the fabric and fleece right sides together.

Use a hot iron to fuse the fleece to the fabric.

Layer your materials.

Place the batting on top of the fleece-backed fabric.
- Place the remaining fabric piece on top of the batting.
- Pin all layers together.

Sew your rug.

Start by sewing around the perimeter of the rug, leaving a 1-inch seam allowance.
- Turn the rug right side out.
- Press the rug.

Topstitch around the perimeter of the rug.
