Instructions

  1. Cut the wood.

  • 4 pieces at 24 inches long
  • 4 pieces at 30 inches long
  • 2 pieces at 36 inches long

Cut the 2x6s to the following lengths:

  • 2 pieces at 24 inches long
  • 2 pieces at 30 inches long

Cut the plywood to the following dimensions:

  • 24 inches by 30 inches

  • Assemble the frame.

Lay the 2x4s out on a flat surface in the following order:

  • 2 pieces at 24 inches long
  • 2 pieces at 30 inches long
  • 2 pieces at 36 inches long

The 24-inch pieces should be at the top and bottom of the frame, and the 30-inch pieces should be in the middle. The 36-inch pieces should be at the front and back of the frame.

Secure the 2x4s together using 2-inch screws.

  1. Add the 2x6s.

Attach the 2x6s to the front and back of the frame using 2-inch screws. The 2x6s should be flush with the top of the frame.
